Our priority here at Base Camp Hamarøy is to offer comfort to those looking for peace combined with physical activity. It is a recreation area for nature-lovers and those who care where we live.
The campsite is designed around key ecological concepts. It is important to us that we contribute to the conservation of nature, and we do so using different methods and tools. We expect a responsible approach to the campsite from our guests as well.
Base Camp Hamarøy is located in the north of Norway, in the vicinity of Vestfjord.
Accommodations
Base Camp Hamarøy offers accommodations to suit everyone’s needs. From cosy cottages or a house on the water to places for campers and pitches for tents. Surrounded by mountain peaks, Base Camp Hamarøy is situated next to the Vestfjord. All cottages, campervans and tent pitches have stunning views of the fjord. Holiday perfect down to the smallest detail!

It’s not the biggest we have to offer, but certainly comfortable and meets the needs of those who want to be active in nature.

The 16 m² cabin is the perfect choice for groups or families of 4 or less. Although the cabin is not large, it is arranged in a way that makes you feel comfortable and spacious. For a sweet night’s sleep, the cabin has a sleeping area with 2 bunk beds. The beds are single, so your sleep will be sweet.
